Fortune 500 Excel List is the ranked list of largest United States corporations by total revenue for their respective fiscal years. According to Fortune methodology, Fortune U.S. companies should be incorporated in the U.S. and operate in the U.S. and file financial statements with a government agency.
The Fortune Magazine regularly publishes the Fortune 500 companies list in July or August of each year. For this reason, 2021 rankings will be published in July of 2021 and you will see that we have the latest 2020 Fortune 500 Companies in our website.
What is the difference between Fortune 500 and Fortune Global 500?
Fortune 500 includes only U.S. corporations whereas Fortune Global 500 ranks largest companies worldwide.
This year’s Fortune 500 marks the 66th running of the list. In total, Fortune 500 companies represent two-thirds of the U.S. GDP with $14.2 trillion in revenues, $1.2 trillion in profits, $20.6 trillion in market value, and employ 29.1 million people worldwide in 2020.
