TEMPLATE DESCRIPTION

Fortune Global 500 Excel List provides a full list of the largest corporations worldwide in 2024. In particular, these are the official lists by Fortune Magazine, which sort companies’ global rankings by total revenues.

What is the difference between Fortune 500 List?

Basically, Fortune Global 500 consists of the top 500 companies in the world whereas Fortune 500 is exclusive to U.S. companies only.

In summary, the world’s 500 largest companies generated a record $41 trillion in revenue, a slight increase of 0.1% from the previous year. U.S. companies lead with 139 entries on the list, followed by China (including Hong Kong) with 133. U.S. companies accounted for $13.8 trillion in aggregate revenues, a 6% increase from the previous year.

Lastly, The Fortune Magazine regularly publishes the Fortune companies list around August of each year. Since 2025 rankings will be published in August of 2025, until then, you will see the latest list available on our website.

So, you can download the Fortune Global 500 list for 2024 and analyze it as per your needs. Also, it’s available to play around easily on Excel rather than browsing on a web page.

    The Global 500 spreadsheet is really useful for basic academic/journalistic/student work on the world’s largest companies. The one major addition I would like is a column that had the web URL for each company’s home page. This can be accessed easily enough via the Fortune web list itself, though the interface is a little clunky. But the spreadsheet is free – so that is wonderful (Fortune charges a fortune to buy the same data!). A contribution to scholarship.
